Being a Part of "The Plastic World."

Nowadays, the plastic usage is very common at everywhere either in a smalltown area or any market place.

Just think, a single individual from a smalltown area going to buy something, shopkeeper gave that in a plastic carrybag. Now the major thing is that, MILLIONS of people are going to shopping everyday, they are NOT CARRYING THEIR OWN BAG, and bringing lots of plastic bags to their home and throwing them as a waste after use. Also shopkeepers are not keeping ecofriendly bags to their place.

Now think microscopically, about everyday plastic usage and waste. THE USAGE IS RESPONSIBLE FOR PRODUCTION. But as we are addicted to plastic life, we can't eliminate it 100%, but lesser usage of plastic will lessen the plastic waste and also the hazardous effects on our motherland because more recycling will produce more air pollution.

So the only solution is that everytime people are going to buy anything need to keep their own bag with them and strictly don't ask for any plastic bag to shopkeeper. Feel that you are harming your motherland by asking plastic.

Feeling proud to say I am following the above stated solutions and requesting to people SAY NO TO PLASTIC.

Nature is the biggest power all over the world. So taking care of your motherland will provide you and your children a peaceful and definitely a healthy life.

hey leena recently me too posted a blog on dis topic ya. wat u said is perfectly ok. bt at d same time wat rakhi hs said is also true coz plastics r future prospects of material uses it is eliminating d use of wooden n thus reducing d deforestation at d same time we sud b concerned of d pollution by d plastics fr dis we sud encorage biodegradable environmental friendly plastics ya. n sud hv a proper waste management planning.

Well, I would like to comment on this..It is really necessary to keep the consumption to minimum by taking your own bags to markets...as you suggested..but the usage of plastic is actually not the main problem but waste management is ......And for your kind information...........if paper industry and plastic industry is compared, the former one creates much more pollution than the latter due to high energy requirements for the processing step, but nobody emphasizes on this point..because every matter is just politicized !!!! So i think it's much more important to adopt an efficient system of waste management in India..
