MotherEarth Is Thirsty!

All the things like wild life, forests, lakes, mountains, rivers, etc. are the important part of nature and also very beneficial to human beings but these are being vanished by none other than the human beings under the name of development. The above said all natural things are existing only because of water. If there is no water there is no nature at all and also no life.

In most of all institutions in our country, there is no system for water management yet. I noticed many times working peopl… Continue

Being a Part of "The Plastic World."

Nowadays, the plastic usage is very common at everywhere either in a smalltown area or any market place.

Just think, a single individual from a smalltown area going to buy something, shopkeeper gave that in a plastic carrybag. Now the major thing is that, MILLIONS of people are going to shopping everyday, they are NOT CARRYING THEIR OWN BAG, and bringing lots of plastic bags to their home and throwing them as a waste after use. Also shopkeepers are not keeping ecofriendly bags to their place.… Continue

Hi Leena, Thanks for your reply !!!!
I am absolutely fine and hope the same for you.
Well, I think that you did not understand my point.Let me explain with an example....In today's world, mostly all the consumer products come in the market after packaging...so this packaging is normally polymer based (plastics)...which finally contribute to the waste after usage of the product...now if we want to minimize the usage of plastics..then the other option of packaging would be Paper (to the best of my knowledge). Now here comes my point that Actually paper creates much more environmental pollution and consumes much higher energy resources during processing compared to plastics. Besides this, forests and green cover is reduced to fulfill the demand of paper.., Also, today, most of the shops have started to sell their products in paper bags than Plastic bags..The big problem is that this fact is never highlighted while emphasizing on avoiding the usage of plastics...So now..what would you exactly suggest to people ?

Actually I am pursuing my PhD in France..So I have not joined any society in India but I would do it in Future...
Have a nice day !!!!

Cheers
Rakhi

Hi Leena, you are absolutely correct. If each of us understand our duty than we all can change the possible fate of our mother earth. Water is going to be more precious and we don't want to know our duty, not for ourselves but also for our coming generation. When will we understand our responsibility?
I want to tell you one more thing that you should post your comment, concerning water on comment page of 'Precious water group'. It will be better because all the members of group will be able to know about your views.

Exhibit of wild animals in Advertisements

In India many advertisers use wild animals on national TV to enthuse the audience. Is it not a crime? The use of animal gives a wrong signal to the viewers who consider animals to be for the entertainment of the masses. Already we are seeing a uncontrollable perilous environmental degradation from all quarters. Is it not high time that the govt curb the usage of animals in advt.

my son's interest in environment

It is very heartening to see enthusiastic parents like you who want to imbibe love for nature in their child.
As a child I think Salman can learn about the flora and fauna ( avian ) in and around his environment and in out country.
Once he starts learning, he will start appreciating the beauty of nature. As he grows old he will understand the environmental degradation caused by the greed of humans. Hopefully he will guide other youngsters to appreciate the beauty of nature.

The need of the hour…
