There's a new kid on the block (well, kind-of new to some of us anyway) ... stevia. This intriguing sweetener is ages old in some parts of the world – mostly South America and China, but relatively new in the U.S. It has no calories, no nothing that can harm you, even if you have diabetes. It is not processed like high-fructose corn syrup or agave nectar, and the final sweetener is totally unharmed in the extracting process.
It is made from a shrub that is relatively easy to grow – that grew to…
the world doesnt end by 2012 but if we dont act to save earth due to global warming and green house effect polar ice caps melt,etc.................,will happen.it destroys the life of creatures.so let us save earth by contributing our efforts.
Thanks a lot. I will surely talk to her. Thanks again

I can give you some suggestion like there is some conservation course available in the Indian institute of wildlife Dehradoon which is a very prestegious one also i think you should contact this institute apart from this there is one more institute in Banglore which has very tough competition to get in if you want further information about this institute then please make contact on this e-mail mahi.puri@gmail.com. Mahi is freind and ex coleague of mine, she has just given an entrance exam for th…

Compliment of the day,how is your health including work and business over there, guess fine.
My name is favour, in search of a man who understands love as trust and faith rather seeing it as a way of fun but a mature man with good sense of humor after reading your profile at (www.earthmatters.ning.com) ,in fact,i derive interest on you so contact me directly with this email address and here is it(favour.davids95yahoo.com) i believe we can start from here, awaiting to hear from you to enable me send my pictures to you for further introduction.
kisses with love and cherish you.
Hey, long time no see......
i am glad you see the programme and find it useful...
thanks for joing the online community...keep interacting and exchanging views and concerns...best wishes

The difference between the theoretical voltage and the actual voltage is known as the polarisation.
The effect of polarisation is to reduce the efficiency of the cell from the theoretical maximum.
The significant drop in voltage and hence energy loss takes place as the current density is increased
ACTIVATION POLARIZATION
(CHEMICAL POLARIZATION)
This is related to the activation energy barrier for the electron transfer process at the electrode. In fuel cells electrons are liberated and reaction is chemisorption reaction.
At low current densities significant number of electrons are not emitted, which results in such a potential loss.
This process requires that certain minimum activation energy supplied so that sufficient number of electrons are emitted, this energy is supplied by output of the cell. This loss is known as activation or chemical polarisation.
This polarisation may be reduced by using better electrode catalysts, increasing surface area, and by raising the operating temperature.
The biggest problem that our earth is facing is the problem of energy crisis .
Basic Reasons:-
-Increase of population.
-Various development programs aimed at raising the standard of people.
Solution:-Search of new renewable source of energy.
Here is two of them which are recent, under progress & are rarely known:-
1)Ocean Thermal Energy Conservation(OTEC):-It utilizes difference between warm surface sea water at about 28 degree C.& the cold deep sea water at 5 to 7 degree C. at a depth of 800 to 1000 mts. in the tropical areas.
-Potential sites are along coastal length from Bombay to vishakapatnam,Gulf of Kutch,Gulf of Kambay & sunderban.
-Total potential estimated as 50,000.
2)Geo Thermal Energy:-
-Estimated energy-3000,000MW/yr.
-Energy lies with in the earth(40% of Iceland)population live in geothermal.
3 types:-
a)Dry steam fields.Eg:-Geysers,Availability-520MW.Installed-380MW,found in newzealand,Japan,Mexico & soviet Union.
b)Wet steam fields:-20 times more energy than dry steam fields(Mexico Iceland).
c)Hot water resource:-300 Known hot springs in india located in himalayan mobile belt, west coast region,Narnada-sone rivers region & the region in Bihar,Bengal belt,Pugga Valley about 230km from Leh available at 11 to 32 mts at temp. of 50 to 110 degree C.Heat availability is 25,000KJ/sec i.e. equivalent about 25MW of electric power, temp. of manikaran is 69 to 93 degree C. & that of suraj-kund(Hazari-baag) is 87 degree C.

To be a donor means to give at each step and increase one's own stock.
Projection
Usually it seems very difficult to be a donor - to give from whatever resources we have. The thought often arises in the mind that we cannot give because we are ourselves not complete or full. We find ourselves constantly trying to fill ourselves and we then have no time or thought for giving to those around us.
Solution
We have a lot of treasures within us which we can give to those around us, our virtues, our specialities etc. Even if we have just a little and give to the others, we will find ourselves benefitting. For having given from whatever we have, we find that these treasures begin to increase within ourselves too.
do u think that we people r doing great for our earth
