I wonder if there is any humanity left amongst human-beings... What kind of a world are we creating for our future-generations.... If the fourth world war will take place then it will be fought with stones cause after the third world war nothing will remain on this earth...

As soon as I heard about the blasts, I started calling up all my friends to know if they are all fine.... Most of them were fine... One of my friends cell was not reachable... I called up on his landline number but nobody pi… Continue

The Day after Tomorrow

"The Day after Tomorrow" is a wonderful movie which shows the catastrophic effects of global warming.....I saw the movie yesterday afternoon and since then my mind has not known rest even for a second....The movie has cast a spell on me and I am really worried about tomorrow's humanity....We are today's humanity and must save this beautiful earth for the future generations....The pace at which we are using the natural resources makes me wonder that iceage is bound to come back on earth....

Exhibit of wild animals in Advertisements

In India many advertisers use wild animals on national TV to enthuse the audience. Is it not a crime? The use of animal gives a wrong signal to the viewers who consider animals to be for the entertainment of the masses. Already we are seeing a uncontrollable perilous environmental degradation from all quarters. Is it not high time that the govt curb the usage of animals in advt.

my son's interest in environment

It is very heartening to see enthusiastic parents like you who want to imbibe love for nature in their child.
As a child I think Salman can learn about the flora and fauna ( avian ) in and around his environment and in out country.
Once he starts learning, he will start appreciating the beauty of nature. As he grows old he will understand the environmental degradation caused by the greed of humans. Hopefully he will guide other youngsters to appreciate the beauty of nature.

The need of the hour…

...this year we collected 16000 plus garbage bags from Valley of Flowers and Shri Hemkund Sahib trek route and deposit all those near a collection point near Govind Ghat. We have to carry all that plastic garbage for recycling via motor road up to Dehradun, but we have no funds for that as we need at least 20 trucks to carry all the garbage. No body either so called Delhi based Kurta-Dhari Environists or Uttarakhand Govt. coming forward to help us. I know there are so many nature lovers bergeoni…
