An extensive market survey of tiger parts in Taiwan was completed in March 1993. The data confirms the continued demand for a variety of tiger parts, despite domestic laws which prohibit trade in endangered species. The Highleys developed a five-point Action Plan for Taiwan which emphasizes effective law enforcement and education as necessary steps toward ending the consumption of tiger parts. Earthtrust efforts have also included providing information and documentation to Washington DC State Department and USFWS officials regarding Taiwan's promises to take concrete steps to shut down the trade in rhino horn and tiger parts. They support legislative measures designed to ensure strengthened legislation, enforcement and penalties concerning the sale and possession of endangered species products.

HI !!!!!!!!!!!!!! friends, the overcoming & increasing tiger killing of tiger in sundarban, the reason is behind this is canged habits of tiger, if u want to know more, see the "tigers of sundarban's", on animal planet and in this issue human is responseble for that,,

Its an alarming situation....must do something for our Big Cats......Lets come together n eradicate all evils....Need for Good forest security system....

Tiger is a really very royal living entity on earth, throughout my little experiance I came accross to the point that tiger is very sinceare carnivora about all his activities! Thus, we should learn much-more from "Jungles life-styles" I think more precisely, it's exactly call of the forest/wild/jungle/earth to us! I will be very happy, if anybody call me at any where and at any time in any conservation campaign related to tiger's.

good news, in maharashtra we found two female tiger cubs which has been shifted to maharazbaag zoo because of some injuries.i prayfor them to become healthy as quickly as possible.

have you ever seen the forehead of tiger....it is china's symbol. It means "king"
tiger is one of the royal member of cat family ... its very shamefull for human being that our gread results the extinciton of a royal cat.
