fill a one liter bottle of water and put it in the flush. now every time you flush you'll save a whole liter!

also install the the system with a half and a full flush.. these are incredibly efficient at saving water.

CAN THIS WORK?

just by using limited water in bathroom -- agreed to this -- in other way i will say use water as necessity. Secondly when it comes to bathroom remember to close the tap when the bucket is filled. Many times i have seen (not only in bathrooms) ppl open tap to fill a bucket but it is never closed (though it is overflowing), till they pass by the bucket again. it won't take more than 2-3mins to have a bucket filled with water, open the tap and wait for sometime close it and continue with your work, that should be the Best Practice.

Hey Joydeep,

Why do you say "think of people in Rajasthan while using water", though there is scarcity of water in Rajasthan still those ppl are managing any how... i am not sure but i believe that ppl in Rajasthan(or any desert where there is scaracity of water) they already know how to save water in every way....
Anyway when we say we have to save water its for everyone, don't limit it to a state

Hello joydeep, thanks for giving some ideas to save precious water. We should start this from our homes. Make sure that we use only a bucket of water for bathing instead of taking a shower bath. Thanks

By using limited water in the bathroom, for cleaning rooms and vehicles, whille washing hands, utensils, while watering plants and pursuading the family members to do the same we can save this precious resource.By conserving a little we can contribute greatly to ensure the availability of water for the future generations.

Please do not wash your car, i would request all those who use car to travel, to clean it with half a bucket of water and cloth instead of washing it with continuously running clean tap water.
When we say that we need to conserve water that does not mean that you have to have a "water conservation plant" at your home, but it actually means "do not waste water". Mind you every drop drop matters.

Sweet Plant - Stevia

There's a new kid on the block (well, kind-of new to some of us anyway) ... stevia. This intriguing sweetener is ages old in some parts of the world – mostly South America and China, but relatively new in the U.S. It has no calories, no nothing that can harm you, even if you have diabetes. It is not processed like high-fructose corn syrup or agave nectar, and the final sweetener is totally unharmed in the extracting process.

It is made from a shrub that is relatively easy to grow – that grew to…
