Hello Kishore, thanks for your unique views.
Hello Ravi, you are right that rain water harvesting system should be essential for all the buildings and offices. But I think depending on the government is not better, we all can take an initiative for it. Public awareness is more important than dependence on govt.

The rainwater harvesting is done on a large scale in Chennai and to some extend in Delhi and Bangalore. Why is Mumbai lagging behind in this..?? Do we think we can drink salt water ?? And why are the BMC and Politicians not enforcing it thru legislations and hefty fines ?? We need to take this up and do soemthing on this

we can save water by reducing the wastage of water.
as a drop of water saved is a drop gained.

Hi Neeru, I think water crisis has been created by our some mistakes like wasting water, not to recycle water, deforestation pollution and population outburst also. Rain water harvesting depends on rain. This system harvests water from rain. If people go for a rich plantation, not to cut plants, be sparing in water use and recycle water, it is sure that water crisis will be move to an end.

everyone must understand the value of this precious liquid and do something noble for it and the society. but this discussions i think remain thertical onlly quite often, so what all we can do practicall to save and conserve water. we must do something creative, unique and innovative to harness this natural wealth.on the contrary we must teach our area people the significance of water. as it is easily available in most parts of our citise we often fail to underastand the importance of water. so far i have always tried to teach my area people to conserve it. at the same i even give them useful medical tips as contaminated water is the root cause of 70% disesses in india.

i think we cn collect rain water n cn use it efficiently for many purposes like for washing cloths, utencils, cars, etc as i do always except during first rain!
n we should close the tap tightly! cz every drop is precious!!!

Sweet Plant - Stevia

There's a new kid on the block (well, kind-of new to some of us anyway) ... stevia. It is not processed like high-fructose corn syrup or agave nectar, and the final sweetener is totally unharmed in the extracting process.

It is made from a shrub that is relatively easy to grow – that grew to…
