Todays episode was regarding the Re-introduction of Cheetah in India. The episode explained how circumstances compelled the cheetah to lose its natural habita and become aggressive towards human, which ultimately made them vulnerable to exploitation. It should be realised that how imporatant it is to re-introduce the cheetah in our country in order to restore the disrupted ecosystem and in imparting it a reincarnation in our country. The second half of todays episode was related to the Asiatic Lion. Gir forests in Gujrat have always been home for these lions and exemplify a healthy and complete ecosystem. But its really saddending to know that these asiatic lions remain in a mere number of hundreds in our country. So, steps are being taken to rehabilitate these lions by moving them to Kunno Wildlife sanctuary in Madhya Pradesh. Asiatic lions are a pride of our nation and to ensure their long term survival they also need human co-operation.

There's a new kid on the block (well, kind-of new to some of us anyway) ... stevia. This intriguing sweetener is ages old in some parts of the world – mostly South America and China, but relatively new in the U.S. It has no calories, no nothing that can harm you, even if you have diabetes. It is not processed like high-fructose corn syrup or agave nectar, and the final sweetener is totally unharmed in the extracting process.

It is made from a shrub that is relatively easy to grow – that grew to…
