An Agrarian economy too can become a developed economy provided the cultivation is done efficiently and on scientific lines.The problems faced by most of the agrarian economies are disguised unemployment, unscientific cultivation,over dependence on rainfall...etc, which is very much evident in case of India.
But,, Indian govt. stress more on agriculture and even makes policies in favour of farmers. India has a monsoon climatic conditions which are most suitable for agriculture..!! All these factor indicates India has good control over its agiculture and also that a large part of its income comes from agrcultural sector. Then why it cannot become a developed nation with agririan economy???
