MUssorrie unfortunately like many other hill stations is overburdened and ill managed. Plastic, garbage, water are huge issues. THis year like the previous has had little rainfall and water sources have shrunk. Tourists visit places with little regard to how they 'behave'. littering and being wasteful . Its is possible to have a good time and be responsible at the same time.
Infact it is advised when travelling in the mountains to bring all waste back as there are poor waste management systems in place

Why can't an agrarian economy cannot be devoloped???
But,, Indian govt. stress more on agriculture and even makes policies in favour of farmers. India has a monsoon climatic conditions which are most suitable for agriculture..!! All these factor indicates India has good control over its agiculture and also that a large part of its income comes from agrcultural sector. Then why it cannot become a developed nation with agririan economy???Why Can't we just STOP buying!
Most of us buy products as we need them for our requirements, but many buy just to be competetive in this rat race to buy more fashionable products. We discuss to reduce the use of plastics and recycle them, why can't we just give a second thought to the whole concept of Corporate induced "consumerism". You buy a mp3 player with headphone, then you buy its charger, then you buy its cover, then its stand for table and the car and so on and so forth. So the act of listening to music has given way…Why can't an agrarian economy cannot be devoloped???
coz environmental conditions & govt. policies are not favourable for farmers in india most of the time.....we wasted lots of agricultural land for the sake of industrial development & SEZ.for vehicle users!!
i think.....we contribute ...by not using our motor vehicle....... for one day of the week.........!we saw that, at the time of truck & local auto riksaw strick............pollution level is decrease, which is very helpfull for enviroment.
so lets try...........!
