Save mother earth!

Friends, now these days rainy season is going on. In this season celebrate yours and your family member’s birthdays and anniversaries with plants. Please plant at least 10 or more trees at that day.
Tell us about your good day and how many trees do you want to plant at that day.
After your plantation we would like to know about your memorable celebration. Our well wishes with you.

excellent thought keshav! plant fruiting trees so that they have more benefits. I have noticed the tendency is to plant evergreen and non fruiting trees because they create no "mess", but environmentally speaking they would be of less benefit compared to a tree that flowers, fruits and sheds it leaves.

Yes Abhishek, you are right. Only planting tree is not sufficient, we should also take care of them for some days after plantation.

God bless all 12th July born people. On your behalf few people have planted some fruiting trees. Congrates to them. I'm ensuring one on my upcomming B'day. If my expectations doesn't go awry, I'll be able to plant one fruiting tree in the courtyard of a local temple (Shri laxmi NarayanTemple, Sector-56) having a school running in parallel. Both temple and the school share the same ground. It must grow safely there.
Request others too to follow the suit. Its good.

Exhibit of wild animals in Advertisements

In India many advertisers use wild animals on national TV to enthuse the audience. Is it not a crime? The use of animal gives a wrong signal to the viewers who consider animals to be for the entertainment of the masses. Already we are seeing a uncontrollable perilous environmental degradation from all quarters. Is it not high time that the govt curb the usage of animals in advt.

my son's interest in environment

It is very heartening to see enthusiastic parents like you who want to imbibe love for nature in their child.
As a child I think Salman can learn about the flora and fauna ( avian ) in and around his environment and in out country.
Once he starts learning, he will start appreciating the beauty of nature. As he grows old he will understand the environmental degradation caused by the greed of humans. Hopefully he will guide other youngsters to appreciate the beauty of nature.
